This document describes the Brivis Programmable TH4110 thermostat, a wall control unit designed for managing heating and cooling systems. It offers programmable scheduling, temporary and permanent overrides, and an Adaptive Intelligent Recovery (AIR) feature for optimized climate control.
The Brivis Programmable TH4110 is a thermostat that allows users to control their heating and cooling systems. It features a system switch to select between "COOL" (cooling system in use), "OFF" (all systems off), and "HEAT" (heating system in use). The fan switch can be set to "AUTO" or "ON." In "AUTO MODE," the fan operates only when the heating or cooling system is active. When set to "ON," the fan runs continuously, which can be used for improved air circulation.
To set the time, press the "SET" button, then use the "UP" and "DOWN" arrows to adjust the time. Press "SET" again to confirm. To set the day of the week, press the "SET" button once more, then use the "UP" and "DOWN" arrows to select the correct day. Finally, press "RUN" to save the settings.
The thermostat allows for programming four time periods each day, with distinct settings for weekdays (Monday-Friday) and weekends (Saturday-Sunday). These periods are:
To temporarily adjust the temperature, press the "UP" and "DOWN" arrows. This override will maintain the new temperature until the next programmed time period begins. To cancel a temporary override at any time, press "RUN."
To permanently adjust the temperature, press "HOLD." This will override the temperature settings for all time periods. The "HOLD" feature effectively turns off the program schedule, allowing manual adjustment of the thermostat. The set temperature will be maintained 24 hours a day until manually changed or until "RUN" is pressed to cancel "HOLD" and resume the program schedule.
This feature allows the thermostat to "learn" how long it takes for the heating or air conditioning system to reach the desired set temperature. The thermostat will then activate the unit at the appropriate time to ensure the desired temperature is achieved by the scheduled time. For example, if the "WAKE" time is set for 6:00 AM and the temperature to 21 degrees, the unit will turn on before 6:00 AM to ensure the temperature is 21 degrees by 6:00 AM.
Batteries are optional and serve as backup power if the thermostat is wired to run on AC power. The "REPLACE BATT" warning will flash approximately two months before the batteries are depleted, indicating it's time to install fresh batteries. If new batteries are inserted within one minute, the time and day settings will not need to be reset. All other settings are permanently stored in memory and do not require battery power.
