When the power of the typewriter is switched ON, the pitch is automaticaily set to Pica. The
pitch seiector can be used to switched between Pica and Elite any time the carrier is
positioned at the left margin. Note that the upper scale on the paper bail is for Elite while the
lower scale is for Pica.

LINE SPACE SELECT
LINE
Use the line space selector to choose the number of lines you wish the paper to be
fed when you press the carrier return key. The line space setting can be changed at
any time.
