Connect the power cord
a Connect the power cord.
WARNING
The machine must be fitted with an earthed
plug.

Choose your language

After connecting the power cord, the LCD shows:
Press a or b to display your language and press
your language.
b Press Yes or No.
Note
For information about tray#2, see Loading paper
in paper tray #2 in Chapter 2 of the User’s Guide.
Important
DO NOT connect the USB cable yet (if you are
using a USB cable).
Note
The control panel warning LED will stay on until
you have installed the ink cartridges.

The languages available may differ
depending on your country.
If you set the wrong language, you can change
the language after setting the date and time.
