E-mail/I-FAX (For MFC-6490CW) 6
This menu has five selections: Mail Address, Setup Server, Setup Mail RX, Setup Mail TX, and
Setup Relay. These settings must be configured for the I-Fax feature to work. For more details about
Internet fax, see Internet fax and Scan to E-mail (For MFC-6490CW) on page 126.
You can access the character you want by repeatedly pressing the appropriate number key using the
machine’s control panel. For more information, see Entering Text on page 161.
Mail Address 6
a Press Menu.
b Press a or b to choose Network.
Press OK.
c Press a or b to choose E-mail/IFAX.
Press OK.
d Press a or b to choose Mail Address.
Press OK.
e Press Clear/Back to delete default address, then enter the mail address.
Press OK.
f Press Stop/Exit.
