If the work clamp on your Brother Sewing Machine isn't rising, here are a few things to check: * First, the work clamp operation might be sluggish. Try greasing the sliding part of the work clamp. * Second, there might be too much friction between the work clamp lifter plate and the work clamp arm lever plate. Apply grease to these parts. * Finally, make sure the work clamp isn't contacting the thread wiper. If it is, adjust the position of the thread wiper.
