build
up
5-pounds
pressure
and
"blow
down”
boiler.
“Blow
down”
boiler
again
as
in
Step
2,
then
flush
con¬
tinuously
until
it
is
.certain
that
boiler
is
free
of
the
soda.
After
the
boiler
has
been
thoroughly
cleaned,
add
fresh,
clear
water
to
the
proper
level
in
the
heat¬
ing
system.
The
degree
of
acidity
or
alkaline
should
not
exceed
a
pH
value
of
7
to
8.
