2.2 Requirements for the operator
The Mini Spray Dryer B-191 is only to be used by laboratory
and specialist personnel and other persons, who, because of
their training or professional experience, are able to assess
the dangers which can result while operating the equipment.
Personnel without this training or persons who are in training
require thorough instruction. These operating instructions are
the basis.
2.3 Regulation use
The Mini Spray Dryer B-191 is conceived and built as a piece
of laboratory equipment. Its regulation use is to dry watery
solutions or suspensions in one operating process.
It is used for:
• Spray drying watery solutions or suspensions
• Micronisation
• Spray embedding and coating
• Structural transformation
Regulation use of the Mini Spray Dryer B-191 also includes its
care and careful handling of the apparatus on the basis of the
directions in these instructions.
