u Plug the power cable into the connection labelled Power IN on the back of the in-
strument.
u Plug the mains plug into the power socket.
5.4 Installing the ultrasonic controller
u Place the instrument on the product feed table
of the Mini Spray Dryer B-290.
5.5 Installing the ultrasonic nozzle in open mode
WARNING
Incorrect cooling gas in open mode e.g. Nitrogen
Incorrect cooling gas can lead to unconsciousness, intoxication and other serious per-
ils.
u Use compressed air.
u Other gases install the instrument in a fume hood.
NOTICE
Water as cooling medium
Water as cooling medium can cause an instrument damage.
u Use compressed air.
u Insert the ultrasonic nozzle into the heater ele-
ment of the Mini Spray Dryer B-290.
u Attach the ultrasonic nozzle with the ultrasonic
nozzle cable on the ultrasonic controller.
