Tuner status to determine if the unit has been locked to a
vehicle.
Uninstall Device
Begin the process of uninstalling the ECM Tuner tune from the
engine computer.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Most DTCs indicate a problem with the
engine, not the ECM Tuner. To determine if the ECM Tuner is
causing a DTC, follow these steps:
1. Uninstall the tune.
2. Drive the vehicle for about one week.
If the DTC comes back during this time, there is a
problem with your vehicle and you should contact
an OEM certied mechanic.
If the DTC doesn’t come back during this time,
proceed to the next step.
3. Reinstall the tune.
4. Drive the vehicle for about one week.
If the DTC comes back while the tune is
reinstalled, contact Bully Dog technical support.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This step actively reprograms the engine
computer (ECM/ECU); therefore, it is very important to be
fully informed and prepared before beginning the uninstall
process.
