Indicator
This
indicator
will
light
when
the
REPEAT
button
is
pressed.
It
will
go
off
when
the
REPEAT
button
is
pressed
again,
or
when
the
disc
tray
is
opened
by
pressing
the
OPEN/CLOSE
button.
MEMORY
Button
When
the
player
is
in
the
stop
mode
or
with
the
disc
tray
open,
select
the
number
of
the
desired
selection
that
you
want
to
program
_using
the
F.F
or
F.B
button.
Press
this
button
\
enter
the
first
selection
number.
The
.
EMORY
indicator
will
light.
Select
the
next
selection
number
using
the
F.F
or
F.B
but-
ton.
The
next
designated
selection
number
display
will
flash
on
the
TRACK/INDEX
counter,
and
then
press
the
MEMORY
but-
ton
to
enter
the
next
selection
number.
Up
to
16
selections
can
be
programmed
for
playback
in
any
desired
order.
When
you
have
finished
programming,
if
this
button
is
pressed,
the
program
contents
will
be
automatically
shown
on
the
TRACK/
INDEX
counter
in
the
same
order
in
which
they
have
been
programmed,
and
the
selec-
tion
number
entered
last
will
be
displayed
on
the
TRACK/INDEX
counter,
and
then
the
player
will
be
set
to
the
programmed
playback
standby
mode.
To
cancel
the
programmed
selections,
press
the
STOP
button,
or
open
the
disc
tray
by
pressing
the
OPEN/CLOSE
button.
MEMORY
Indicator
This
indicator
will
light
when
the
MEMORY
button
is
pressed
and
the
player
is
in
the
stop
mode.
It
will
go
off
when
the
STOP
button
is
pressed
once
during
programming
or
twice
during
programmed
playback,
or
when
the
disc
tray
is
opened
by
pressing
the
OPEN/CLOSE
button.

These
buttons
allow
fast
forwarding
and
fast
backing
to
the
desired
selections
on
the
disc.
F.F:
When
this
button
is
pressed
once,
and
the
PLAY/PAUSE
button
is
pressed,
the
pickup
head
will
advance
to
the
beginning
of
the
next
selection.
Each
time
this
button
is
pressed
again,
the
player
will
skip
to
the
beginning
of
the
next
selection,
until
the
TRACK/INDEX
counter
displays
the
last
selection.
Holding
this
button
down
causes
the
selections
to
be
changed
in
order
until
the
beginning
of
the
last
selection
is
reached.
The
pickup
head
will
stop
at
the
beginning
of
the
last
selection.
Holding
this
button
down
during
playback,
even
after
the
TRACK/INDEX
counter
dis-
plays
the
last
selection,
results
in
playback
starting
from
the
beginning
of
the
last
selection.
—F.B:
When
this
button
is
pressed
once,
and
the
PLAY/PAUSE
button
is
pressed,
the
pickup
head
will
return
to
the
beginning
of
the
previous
selection.
When
this
button
is
pressed
once
during
playback,
the
pickup
head
will
skip
to
the
beginning
of
the
selection
being
played.
Each
time
this
button
is
pressed
again,
the
player
will
skip
to
the
beginning
of
the
previous
selection.
Holding
this
button
down
causes
the
selections
to
be

back

The

you
select

selection
number
not
pre-
sent

disc
by
pressing

the
disc
tray

player

reading
the
data
recorded

player

start
playback

In

case
of
programmed
playback,
the

numbers

in

disc

These

selected

the
MEMORY
indicator
is
lit.
During
ordinary

programmed
playback,

the
SEARCH/INDEX

ton

being
pressed,
the
TRACK/INDEX
counter
will
display
the
real
time
in
sec-
onds,
and
the
player
will
quickly
advance
or
reverse.
When
you
release
the
button,
the
real
time
display
will
revert
to
the
selection
number
being
played
and
playback
will
continue.

LEVEL
Control
Use
this
contro!
for
adjusting
the
head-
phones
volume.
Turn
it
clockwise
to
in-
crease,
and
counterclockwise
to
decrease
the
headphones
volume.
PHONES
Jack
Plug
a
pair
of
headphones
into
this
jack
for
personal
listening.
