playback

This

ation

counter.

middle

a
selection,

player

skip
back

beginning

To
make
it
skip
back

previous
selection,
the
button
must
be
pressed
twice.
Continuously
pressing
the
F.B
button
makes
the
player
skip
back
through
the
disc,
selection
by
selection.
Return
to
the
selection
that
you
want
to
hear.
The
pickup
can
be
returned
to
the
first
selection
in
this
way,
but
once
the
beginning
of
the
first
selection
is
reached,
it
will
not
go
back
any
further
when
the
F.B
button
is
pressed.
Instead,
playback
of
the
first
selection
will
begin.
NOTE:
These
buttons
can
be
used
to
start
playback
from
a
desired
selection
even
before
playback
begins
(when
the
player
is
in
the
playback
standby
mode).
In
this
case,
the
number
of
the
desig-
nated
selection
will
be
displayed
until
the
PLAY/PAUSE
button
is
pressed.
Selections
can
be
designated
even
when
the
disc
tray
is
open.
However,
if
a
selection
number
not
present
in
the
disc
is
designated,
playback
will
begin
from
the
beginning
of
the
first
selection.

Forwarding
and
Fast
Backing
Fast
forwarding
and
fast
backing
can
be
done
when
the
player
is
in
the
play
mode
by
using
the
SEARCH/INDEX

and

buttons.

During
PLAY

either

SEARCH/INDEX

pressed,
the
sound
is
muted
during
fast
forwarding
and
fast
backing
(to
about
1/4
normal
volume)
to
allow
easy
determina-

position
of
the
pickup
on
the
disc.

stop
