LINE LENGTH CORRECTIONS
• The steering adjustments can be made on the front
lines where they connect to the kite or on the rear
lines in the bar float* (*Fixed bar Only).
• If one of the front lines is too long, tie either an
overhand knot (25mm adjustment) or a figure 8
knot (40mm). If the line is too short tie a knot in the
opposite line. (This can also be done on the Rear
Line connectors if the Overdrive bar is used).
• Rear Line adjustment on the fixed bar is made as
follows.
• Fold the bar end in and grasp the webbing loop. (Fig.
1)
• Pull out the loop until the knots are shown.
Adjustment can be made by loosening the larkshead
and moving it above the required knot. (FIG 2)
• Pull the leader line back through the bar end and
check the line length again.
• Adjust again if necessary until the control bar is
balanced.
• Re-tighten the knot and check your line length again.
Adjust again if necessary until the control bar is
balanced.
• DO NOT put knots in your FLYING LINES. Knots in
the flying lines compromise the life of the line.
