    • T
      Teresa BlevinsDec 1, 2025
To address spots and filming on glasses and flatware from your Café dishwasher, consider these points: If you have extremely hard water, use high-quality rinse agents like Cascade® Platinum™ Power Dry™ Rinse Aid or Finish® Jet-Dry® Rinse Aid; a softener may be required. Ensure your inlet water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C). Avoid overloading the dishwasher and load it properly, as shown in the Loading section. Make sure your powder detergent is fresh and use high-quality detergents such as Cascade® Platinum™ ActionPacs™ or Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent. Refill the rinse agent dispenser with high-quality rinse agents. Use the proper amount of highly rated detergent. If you have soft water, use less detergent to prevent etching. What to do if my Cafe Dishwasher won’t run?
    • N
      Nicole WeberAug 25, 2025
If your Café dishwasher isn't running, check the following: Ensure the fuse isn't blown or the circuit breaker isn't tripped; replace the fuse or reset the breaker. Make sure power is turned on, especially if it's connected to a wall switch. Verify that the control panel isn't locked (see the Getting started section). If a leak is detected, some models will cancel the cycle and display “LEAK DETECTED”, in which case you should contact Café for service. Finally, ensure you're following the proper start sequence as described in the Using the dishwasher section.

How to turn off beeping at the end of Cafe CDT800 cycle?
    • G
      George PowellAug 26, 2025
The beeping at the end of the cycle on some Café dishwasher models is normal; the dishwasher beeps twice to indicate the cycle's end. To turn off (or re-activate) this double beep indicator, press the Heated Dry/Dry pad 5 times within 3 seconds. A triple beep will confirm the end-of-cycle beep option has been toggled on or off.

      espinozasamuelAug 27, 2025
The beeping you hear every minute is a reminder that your Café dishwasher door has been left open during operation. To stop the beeping, press Start and close the door.

What to do if control panel works but Cafe CDT800 Dishwasher never fills with water?
    • G
      Glenn WangSep 18, 2025
If the control panel of your Café dishwasher responds to inputs but the dishwasher never fills with water, first ensure that the door is completely closed. Also, check that the water valve (usually under the sink) is turned on. Finally, the flood float may be stuck; remove the Ultra-Fine filter and lightly tap the piece under it that looks like a salt shaker, then replace the filter.

Why is detergent left in the dispenser cups of my Cafe CDT800 Dishwasher?
    • S
      Savannah GilbertSep 16, 2025
If detergent is left in the dispenser cups of your Café dishwasher, dishes or utensils might be blocking the detergent cup. Reposition the dishes so the water from the lower spray arm can flush the detergent cup (see the Loading section). Also, reposition tall utensils or heavy silverware that may be preventing the dispenser cup door from opening (see the Loading section), and avoid placing large bowls or pots directly under the detergent dispenser.

Why doesn't the Sanitized light illuminate at the end of the cycle on my Cafe Dishwasher?
    • T
      Tina VargasSep 17, 2025
If the Sanitized or Cycle Sanitized light doesn't illuminate at the end of the cycle on your Café dishwasher, it could be because the door was opened and the cycle was interrupted during the final rinse. Avoid interrupting the cycle by opening the door. Another reason could be that the incoming water temperature was too low; raise the water heater temperature to between 120°F and 150°F.
