- Exterior: Clean with mild soap and water or vinegar and water. Avoid abrasive cleansers, steel wool, or oven cleaners.
- Control Panel: Wipe with mild soap and water or vinegar and water.
- Painted Surfaces: Clean with soap and water or vinegar and water.
- Stainless Steel: Use warm sudsy water or a stainless steel cleaner/polish, wiping in the direction of the grain.
- Glass Cooktop: Clean with ceramic cooktop cleaner and a non-scratch cleaning pad. For burned-on residue, use ceramic cooktop cleaner and a scraper. Avoid scratching with sharp objects or metallic items.
- Oven Interior Cleaning:
- Manual Cleaning: Use a gentle abrasive containing oxalic acid (e.g., Bar Keepers Friend®) for soils on the oven bottom and enameled surfaces. Avoid door glass.
- Steam Clean Mode: For light soil. Pour one cup of water onto the oven bottom, close the door, and run the cycle. Wipe up remaining water and softened soil.
- Self Clean Mode: For heavy soil, uses very high temperatures. Remove all items except self-clean (black) racks and grates. Wipe excess grease and soils before starting. Do not open the door during the cycle.
- Oven Racks: Wash with warm, soapy water. Lubricate with vegetable oil or graphite lubricant (for extension racks) if difficult to slide.
- Oven Light Replacement: Disconnect power, allow bulb to cool, then turn glass cover counterclockwise 1/4 turn to remove. Replace with a new 40-watt appliance bulb.
- Oven Door Removal: For cleaning or service, the oven door can be removed by fully opening, pulling hinge locks up, closing door to approximately 6" from frame, and lifting off. Reinstallation involves aligning hinges and pushing locks down.
- Oven Probe Care: Clean with soap and water or a soap-filled scouring pad. Do not immerse in water, store in the oven, or leave in during self/steam clean cycles.
