PLACEMENT
• Place the coffee machine on a stable, horizontal surface that can support its weight and heat,
in a dry place far from taps, water and heat sources.
• Do not place on top of other appliances.
• Do not place it or ever leave it outdoors.
• Ensure it is out of reach of children.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
This appliance can be used by children 8 years old or older, under adult supervision or after being
instructed in its safe use and made aware of the possible hazards. Children under 8 should not be
allowed to clean or carry out normal maintenance without supervision. Keep the appliance and
power cord out of the reach of children under 8.
• The appliance can be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacity
if supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and the risks they run.
• Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug are damaged, after a malfunction of the machine
or after damage of any kind. Contact Casa del Caffè Vergnano S.p.A. at the e-mail
tre@caffevergnano.com for control, repair or inspection to ensure correct operation.
• If the power cord (7) is damaged, it should be exchanged by the manufacturer or its service
personnel.
To prevent the risk of electrocution and fires:
• Connect the coffee machine only to properly grounded outlets. Make sure the voltage shown
on the appliance rating plate corresponds to the power supply.
• Check that the power cable and plug have not been damaged; never use the coffee machine
if the power cable is faulty. Contact tre@caffevergnano.com to substitute faulty cables or plugs.
• Never bend the cable along sharp corners and keep it far from sources of heat and damp.
• Never place the coffee machine near or on hot surfaces (such as radiators, hobs, gas stoves etc)
to avoid damaging the appliance.
• If the appliance is left unused for prolonged periods of time, unplug it from the mains.
•Keep the machine at least 60 cm from sinks, faucets, flames, hot surfaces.
• Do not use the machine outdoors; do not leave the machine in rooms with temperatures below 5°C
