Fill the tank
•To remove the water tank (8) press it down and, at
the same time, tip it outwards (Fig.1)
• Take off the lid and fill the tank with up to a maximum
of 0,7 litre of fresh water. (Fig.2)
•Replace the lid and put the tank back, tilting it slightly
and resting it against the water valve. Press the top of
the machine until you hear it click. (Fig.3)
How to use the appliance

Preventing limescale build-up:
In order to avoid limescale build-up inside the
machine and, in any case, to ensure the machine
works properly over time, we recommend you
add special water softener to the water tank in
the following way:
•Place the sachet in the tank ONLY AFTER
HAVING REMOVED ITS PLASTIC WRAPPING.
• Rinse the water softening sachet under running
water for a few seconds. Place the sachet at
the bottom of the tank and fill it with water.
•Once placed inside, the sachet lasts 12 months,
after which it needs to be replaced with a new
one.
NB: The sachet must ALWAYS remain inside the
tank until it needs replacing. DO NOT REMOVE
IT, simply fill the tank with water.

Limescale removal:
If you decide not to use a water softener, we
recommend you descale the appliance once
every two months.
You can use a non-toxic or non-harmful limescale
remover for coffee machines to do this, easily
found on sale. Follow the instructions on the
limescale remover’s packaging.
Make sure the tank is in place to avoid any leaks.
