Overview
Use this guide to install and set up the Location Messaging Units LMU 2630MB (VLP-LMUE1Y1).
The LMU Controller provides vehicle tracking to view in AVL GPS Tracking (a.k.a. vMax Live+ 5.0) for users on AT&T, T-Mobile,
Verizon, Telus, Bell and Rogers cell networks.
This guide provides instruction for installing the LMU Controller by itself or with a DVR. To work with a DVR, the DVR needs
to have rmware version 2.0 or higher.
This installation must be performed by a professional with approval from Safe Fleet.

• LMU Controller VLP-LMU26M
• Alarm Button 060-0061, with 20 ft extension
harness 060-0060 and 4 butt connectors 444-
0023G
• GPS extension cable GPS4-CBL (with DVR
install)
• Adaptor Harness 060-1231
• Aux1 to GPS adaptor cable 060-1012 (optional,
with DVR install)
