This can happen if the main voltage doesn't match the air compressor's specifications, if you're using an extension cord that's too thin or long (causing a voltage drop), or if you've been using the compressor continuously for over an hour. Let the motor cool down. If the motor windings are burned out, you should contact Customer Support.
