Why my California Air Tools 15020C Air Compressor stopped and does not start?

If your California Air Tools air compressor stops and doesn't restart, it could be due to a few reasons. The thermal protector might have activated because the motor is overheating. This can happen if the main voltage doesn't match the air compressor's specifications, if you're using an extension cord that's too thin or long (causing a voltage drop), or if you've been using the compressor continuously for over an hour. Let the motor cool down. If the motor windings are burned out, you should contact Customer Support.
