Function Description:

The ED5 handset serves as the primary interface for receiving calls from visitors and managing access. When a visitor initiates a call, the user lifts the receiver to answer. During a call, the user can grant access to the visitor by pressing the "Unlock" button. The system is designed with a limited time window for answering calls and granting access, after which it resets for the next visitor.

The device also incorporates privacy features. Users can silence the ringer by pressing the "Privacy" button, which illuminates an LED to indicate that privacy mode is active. Pressing the button again deactivates privacy mode and restores the ringer. The ringer volume can also be adjusted using a slide switch.

Usage Features:

Installation: The device is opened by pressing a tab at the bottom to separate the shell from the base. The base is then fastened to the wall box. It is crucial to avoid overtightening screws.
