OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Cold Weather (Above 0°C (32°F))
In te m p erature s above 0°C (32°F ),
place choke lever at 75% of full choke
position.
After engine starts, leave choke at
75% for 20 seconds and then set
choke lever to off position.

OFF POSITION
Warm Engine Starting
No choke is needed.
Stopping the Engine
WARNING
Avoid parking on a slope.
Releas e throttle and comp letely stop
the vehicle.
Apply the parking brake.
Set transmission lever to the FOR-
WARD position .
Set the emergency engine stop switch
to the STO P position .
Turn ignition key to OFF position.
Turn fuel valve to OFF position.
Remove key from ignition switch.
Shifting th e Transmission
Let engine idle to warm up.
Apply brakes and set the transmission
selector lever to ”F” (forward), or ”R”
(reverse).
Release bra kes.
WARNING
Make sure the parking brake is
fully disengaged before operat-
ing the vehicl e.
NOTICE
When changing from for-
ward to reverse, or vice-versa, al-
ways completely stop th e vehicle
and apply the brake prior to moving
the transmission lever.
NOTE: The enginewillstop if any shift-
ing is d on e at high RPM.
