For light maintenance on air filter, com-
pressedaircanbeusedtoremovedust
from air filter.
For any other condition, replace air fil-
ter.
NOTICE
Engine performance
degradation or severe damage can
occur if the air filter is not properly
maintained and/or replaced.
Air Filter In stallation
Installation is the reverse of removal
procedure. Pay attention to ensure
proper filter positioning in housing.

Periodically in sp ect air filter housing
drain tube for liquids or deposits.

NOTE: If vehicle isused in dusty areas,
inspect m ore frequently than specified
in
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
.
If liquids/deposits are found, squeeze
and remove the clamp. Pull drain tube
plug out and empty tube.
