Unpack the Machine

Initial Machine and Drawer Preparation

Remove shipping materials, prepare the paper drawer, and remove internal packing tape.

Install the Filters

Attach the Duplex Tray and the Tray Rib

Attach Duplex Tray and Tray Rib

Lift control panel, attach duplex tray and tray rib, then lower control panel.

Install the Drum Unit

Prepare for Drum Unit Installation

Open covers, turn toner container lock lever, and remove waste toner container.

Remove and Install Drum Unit

Turn drum unit lock lever, remove cover, remove drum unit from bag, and insert it.

Secure Drum Unit and Reinsert Container

Turn drum unit lock lever, reinsert waste toner container, and turn toner container lock lever.

Close Covers

Close the right cover carefully, minding fingers.

Install the Toner Cartridge

Prepare Toner Cartridge

Turn toner cartridge lock lever, remove cartridge from bag, and uncap it.

Insert and Secure Toner Cartridge

Insert the toner cartridge, support it, turn the lock lever, and close the cover.

Load Paper in the Paper Drawer

Prepare Paper Drawer for Loading

Open the paper drawer and adjust the side and front guides for the paper size.

Load Paper and Affix Label

Fan paper, load it into the drawer, push drawer back, and affix paper size label.

Attach the Precaution Label

Apply Precaution Label

Lift the feeder, select and affix the desired language precaution label, then lower the feeder.

Connect the Power Cord

Connect Power Cord

Connect the power cord to the machine and the wall outlet.
