2.8.3 Network
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8500 and 8500 II Series are equipped with a
collaboration function that enable them to be connected to other imageRUNNER
ADVANCE machines via the SMB/WebDAV protocol. When the machine is
connected to other machines, a user can select an Advanced Box in another
machine (if it is on the network) to store files or print a file that is stored in
another machine on this machine.
2.8.4 Memory Media
Memory Media can be inserted into the USB port on the side of the device. A
document can be scanned with this machine and stored in memory media in the
PDF, JPEG, XPS, OOXML, or TIFF file format, and then the file stored in the
memory media can be printed on this machine at any time with the desired print
settings.
When printing files from memory media, the maximum file size is 2 GB. Up to 6
files on the memory media can be printed at the same time. The maximum
number of files on the USB memory media that can be displayed or stored is
1,000 (including folders).
