2.6 imageRUNNER ADVANCE Platform Improvements
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX platform has been designed for advanced
functionality, high-reliability, and ease of operation. The DX platform enables
digital-business communications, such as imaging technology, cloud connectivity,
and mobile solutions to work together.
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series UFP V3.13-2 design improvements
include:
• Easy Security Configuration Based on Environment – Administrators can
secure the device based on pre-set environment profiles and security settings.
Only one button press is required, instead of changing multiple individual settings.
Select from one of the following:
o Internet and Intranet Connection
o Direct Internet Connection
o Internet Connection Prohibited
o Private (Home) Network
o Public Network
o Highly Confidential Information Environment
Individual security settings can still be changed, if desired.
• TPM Version Display – Displays the active TPM version in the Device
Information screen. This allows administrators to quickly verify the device is using
the latest available TPM version.
• 128 Character SMTP Password Support –SMTP passwords can be up to 128
characters long, to support stricter password encryption requirements for some
cloud-based mail services.
