5) Disconnect the connector [1], and free
the harness from the 2 edge saddles [2].
6) Remove the 3 screws [3].

7) Slide out the scanner motor unit [1] to
the front, and detach the belt; then, de-
tach the scanner motor unit.

When mounting it, set the ten-
sion of the belt to 10 ±2N
(1 ±0.2 kgf).
