b) distance from the conflicting traffic;
c) direction of flight of the conflicting traffic; and
d) relative speed of the conflicting traffic or the type of aircraft and level if this is
known.
1.6.2 Relative movement and level should be described by using one of the following terms
as applicable:
a) 'closing, converging, parallel, same direction, opposite direction diverging,
overtaking, crossing left to right, crossing right to left';
b) 'indicating level (if known), unverified or 1000 feet above/below'; or,
c) (when giving traffic information to an aircraft which is climbing or descending)

1.6.3 The controller will inform the pilot when the conflict no longer exists.
1.6.4 Avoiding action to be taken by the pilot is given when the controller considers that an
imminent risk of collision will exist if action is not taken immediately
