Overview

The document is an instruction manual for Caple Wall Chimney Hoods, models ZC622 and ZC922.

Function Description

The Caple extractor hood is designed to extract unpleasant odours from the kitchen. It is not intended to extract steam. The cooker hood uses high-quality materials and features a streamlined design. It is equipped with an electric motor and a centrifugal fan, providing strong extraction with low noise. The hood also includes non-stick grease filters and is designed for easy installation.

The extractor hood can operate in two modes:

  1. Ducted Mode: In this mode, the cooker hood is connected to an outlet to the outside via an extraction duct with an interior diameter of 150mm. This exhausts fumes and odours directly out of the building.
  2. Recirculation Mode: If an outside outlet is not available, the exhaust pipe is not required, and activated charcoal filters must be installed. In this mode, the air is filtered through the charcoal filters to trap odours and then recirculated back into the kitchen.

The hood features a touch control panel for operation.

  • Replacing the LED Panel:
    • Lights must be replaced by a qualified person.
    • Steps: Switch off and unplug the appliance, unplug the LED lamp cable, unscrew screws and nuts on the 2 brackets, replace the LED panel, screw back onto brackets, plug the LED lamp cable back in.
