STARTING UP
Open the water mains supply tap and switch on the power line switch.
Press the I.G. switch to switch the machine on. ( see Figure A )
The machine will automatically carry out the following operations:
Re-filling the boiler.
This operation will automatically stop when the level of the probe is reached.
Heating the boiler.
This phase will automatically stop when the pressure level in the boiler is reached.
PLEASE NOTE:
- the pressure switch controls the temperature inside the boiler and the pressure gauge on the front of the machine indicates the
calibrating pressure which is normally 1-1.1 bars.
DISPENSING
1) Coffee Dispensing. ( For E models ).
Place a cup under the dispenser and press one of the coffee dose keys (N° 1-2-3-4-cont./ progr ). The dose will automatically stop once
the pre-programmed dose has been delivered.
The system can be used for the simultaneous dispensing of coffee from all the groups on the machine.
Please note: If you press the continuous key during dispensing, the dose will be prolonged until you press a coffee key or until the 4-
minute timeout cuts in. ( only for E2-3-4 models )
2) Coffee Dispensing. ( For P models ).
Place a cup under the dispenser, press pushbutton 1 and than press again when you want to stop dispensing.
( see Figure A )
3) Hot water dispensing.
Place a cup under the dispenser and turn hot water lever on.
