05 OPERATION
Make sure that the appliance is charged. Press the ON/OFF button.
Switch the appliance off right after use. Press and hold the ON/OFF
button for approx. 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the transport lock.
The lock symbol (16) will flash for a short time and then go out.
Use the guard (17) when the appliance is not being used.
Shaving
While pulling the skin with your free hand, move the razor in a
back-and-forth motion in the direction of your hair growth. Hold
the razor at a 90° angle. Do not apply too much pressure to the
skin, but you can increase the pressure slightly as your skin gets
used to shaving.
For a wet shave, use shaving foam; do not use shaving gel or
shaving cream as they can contaminate the shaving head.
Shaving a three-day beard
To maintain your three-day beard, regularly carry out a dry shave
with the guard in place. The guard functions as a stubble
attachment. Shave your face as described in “Shaving“.
Cutting longer hair
Use the hair clippers (22) to cut longer beard hair and side burns.
Remove the guard and slide the hair clippers upwards. Press the
ON/OFF button.
WARNING!
• Do not use the appliance if you have an open wound,
cut, sunburn or blister.
• Some oil residue may remain on the shaving head after
unpacking. Clean this off with an absorbent, lint-free
cloth before using the product.
• The appliance can be used only cordless.
