06 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance regularly to make it last longer. A timer built
into the appliance adds the trimming times. After 30 minutes of
trimming, the cleaning symbol (15) will start flashing in the display
to remind you to thoroughly clean the appliance. If you switch the
appliance off while the cleaning symbol is flashing, the trimming
timer will restart.
1.Turn the appliance off, disconnect the USB cable. Wipe the body
with a damp cloth.
2.Clean the shaving foil after each use. To do this, press the buttons
(2) on the sides of the shaving head and remove the foil frame (3)
together with the foil. Gently tap the foil with your finger and,
if necessary, rinse it under running water. Dry thoroughly. Remove
any remaining hairs off the shaving unit with a brush. Replace the
foil frame until it clicks into place.
3.The shaving head should also be rinsed regularly under running
water. Remove it by pressing the buttons on the sides (5) and rinse
it under running water. If necessary, use the brush (17). Use the
brush to clean the area where the shaving head is inserted. Dry
the head thoroughly before installing it back.
4.Use the brush to clean the trimmer (22).
5.After cleaning, place the guard on the shaving head.
6.Store the appliance in the storage bag (19) in a dark, cool place
out of children’s reach. When storing make sure that the USB cable
is not tangled.
