Siphon installation norms
Perform the assembly as per the scheme of the attached starting
diagram:
Pan in overpressure:
It is installed to avoid access through the drain piping of bad
smells.
Pan in underpressure:
Besides the previous application, water must be sucked from
the pan:
- For the correct siphon design, the “A” height must be at
least twice that of the underpressure (mm.w.c) where the
condensate pan is placed.
- The drain piping must be slightly sloped to ease circulation
towards the drain.
- The original diameter of the piping must be respected. No
reduction can be made.
11 - CONDENSATE DRAIN
Important: the water drainpipe must be provided with a siphon
to prevent odors and water over ow.

Both the outdoor and indoor modules include a pan that collects
condensate.
Outdoor module: 3/4” M junction threaded, in bronze.
Indoor module: 1/2” M junction threaded, in plastic.
It is important to check the leveling of the unit. A defective unit
leveling can cause water over ow.
To ensure proper functioning, it is crucial to make sure that the
condensate drain is not clogged.
