REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION
1. POWER ON / OFF
Press ON/OFF BUTTON to turn on the air conditioner
ON/OFF
or vice versa. When turned on, it will operate according
to the setting shown on the Remote unit.
2. FAN
Press the Button to select the fan speed

low, med, high or auto
3. TEMPERATURE SETTING
Press (^) or (v) to set the temperature within the
range of 18-30º C.
4. OPERATING MODE
Press the MODE button to select the operating
MODE
mode (Fan, Cool, Dry)
5. AIR SWING
Press the SWING button to turn on/off the
SWING
air swing motor and the LCD will display SW.
6. ECONO (ENERGY SAVING)
Press the
ECO
ECONO button while the unit is used in
COOL mode for the energy saving feature to be activated.
The LCD on remote will show ECO.
7. TURBO
Press the TURBO button while the unit is used in
TURBO
COOL mode for the turbo feature to be activated. The
LCD on remote will show the TURBO icon (for 30 minutes
only). The indoor fan will run at high fan speed for a
while and compressor at maximum frequency. The
turbo feature will be terminated when
• The compressor is cut-off (change from run to stop). OR,
• The turbo feature has operated continuously for 30
minutes.

9. CYCLE (Energy Saving)
The air conditioner can be programmed to TURN
ON/OFF in a cycle manner. Press CYCLE button while
the power status is on, the unit will be turned on and off
at 30 minutes intervals.
10. CLOCK
To set the clock on the Remote unit:
• Press CLOCK button and time display will blink.
• Press to set hour.

• Press to set minutes.

• Press CLOCK button again.
The time display will stop blinking.
Press SLEEP button while the unit is in COOL mode.
When this feature is activated, the temperature setting shall be
automatically raised by 1 C after ONE HOUR. At the 2nd hour,
the temperature setting will again be automatically raised up by
1 C. The change of temperature is up to the 2nd hour only.
The temperature rise will not be seen on the LED Screen.
When this feature is activated, the letter “SL” is shown.
To cancel this function press SLEEP button again.
If the temperature setting is changed before the controlled
temperature is raised up, it will be raised up from
the last setting.
If the power supply fails the unit is turned off or the
operating mode is changed, the sleep feature will
be deactivated.
