Carrier Bryant Payne day and night 585A/YAC - High-Voltage Wiring

A separate electrical line with a fused disconnect switch
mounted in a convenient location should be used for this in¬
stallation. Refer to unit rating plate for maximum fuse size.
CAUTION: Copper conductor is the only type of wire that is
to be connected between the electrical (hsconnect and the
tmit contactor. Do not use aluminum wire. Connect groimd i
lead to ground lug in control box for s^dty. i
NOTE: Use UL-approved conduit and conduit connector for
connecting supply wire to unit to obtain proper grounding.
A. High-Voltage Connections
Proceed as follows to complete high-voltage connections:
1. Run high-voltage leads from fused disconnect through
high-voltage inlet hole provided in control comer panel.
