Whenyouperformanymaintenanceproceduresonthe
harvester,andmorespecicallyonthelinedividersand
thefrontrollers,itisessentialthatyouusethesafetylock
(1)onthetopperifyouneedtoraisethetoppertoperform
theprocedure.
1.Withthemachineparkedonalevelandrmsurface,
completelysuspendthetopper.
2.Pullthehandle(2)allthewaytounseatthelockpin
(3)fromtherearholeofthecradle(4).
3.Fitthelock(1)overtheliftcylinderrod(5).SeeFigure

4.Withthelatch(1)inthepositionshown,turnthehandle
(2)slightlyupwardandreleasethehandletoseatthe
lockpin(3)inthefrontholeofthecradle(4).
NOTICE:Beforeyougounderneaththesuspended
topper,alwayscheckthatthelock(1)isproperlyposi-
tionedandsecured.
