7. Use a straight edge to align the drive sheave with
the driven sheave within 1/16 inch. Once the
sheave is properly aligned, tighten the setscrews,
3, Figure 44, and jamnuts to retain the sheave.
8. Reinstall the belt, and tighten the locknut, 2, until
the spring length matches the length of the
gauge.
9. Block the cutter bar using a wood block between
the discs, and install the center bolt, 1, and
washer in the jackshaft.
10. Reinstall the rear belt shield using the four
locknuts, 1, and flat washers.
