hazardouschemicalsyoucanbeseriouslyinjured.
Theuids,lubricants,paints,adhesives,coolants,
etc.requiredforthefunctionofthemachinecanbe
hazardous.Theymaybeattractiveandharmfulto
domesticanimalsaswellashumans.
•
MaterialSafetyDataSheets(MSDS)provideinforma-
tionaboutchemicalsubstanceswithinaproduct,safe
handlingprocedures,rstaidmeasures,andproce-
durestobetakenintheeventofaspilloraccidental
release.MSDSareavailablefromyourdealer.
•
Beforeyouservicethemachine,checktheMSDSfor
eachlubricant,uid,etc.usedinthemachine.This
informationindicatestheassociatedrisksandwillhelp
youservicethemachinesafely.Followtheinformation
intheMSDS,onmanufacturer'scontainers,aswellas
theinformationinthismanualwhenservicingthema-
chine.

Disposeofalluids,lters,andcontainersinanenvi-
ronmentallysafemanneraccordingtolocallawsand
regulations.Checkwithlocalenvironmentalandrecy-
clingcentersoryourdealerforcorrectdisposalinfor-
mation.
•
Storeuidsandlterinaccordancewithlocallawsand
regulations.Useonlyappropriatecontainersforthe
storageofchemicalsorpetrochemicalsubstances.
•
Keepoutofreachofchildrenorotherunauthorizedper-
sons.
Transportingprecautions
•
Knowtherules,laws,andsafetyequipmentnecessary
fortransportingthismachineonaroadorhighway.
•
Useappropriatelightingasdenedbylocalregulations.
Makesuretheslowmovingvehicle(SMV)andorspeed
indicator(SIS)isvisibleifdrivingonapublicroador
highway.

Areextinguisheronboardisrecommendedforall
constructionequipment.
•
Contactyourdealerforthetypeandlocationofare
extinguisherforthismachine.
Precautionsspecictothismachine
•
Keeptheloadorbucket/attachmentaslowaspossible
whilemovingthemachinearoundthejobsite.
•
Youmustknowwhichcircuitshaveaccumulatorsand
howtoreleasepressureproperly.
•
Whenservicingthemachine,turnthemachineoff,re-
leasehydraulicpressure,keeptheattachmentonthe
ground,andsettheemergencybrake.Ifthemachine
mustbeservicedwiththeliftarmsup,alwaysusethe
liftarmsupportstrutwiththeboltturnedcompletelyin.
