Replace an externally splined (plain) disc and then
an internally splined (friction) disc alternately until six
of each have been replaced.
Replace the clutch pack retaining plate and refit the
retaining clip.
Replace the thrust washer, the bearing, the spacer
and the bearing.
Line up the clutch plate splines and replace the pri-
mary gear. Remove the needle bearing and the
thrust washer.
NOTE: the needle bearing should be fitted with the
closed side of its cage against the gear.
