PRG ENA AND PRG- DIS
It is sometimes desireable to keep
the timbre of one of the two connected
musical
instruments fixed. The example here will
use
two
CZ-3000s.

In this example,
the timbres of unit

are fixed and are unaffected when timbres
in unit

are changed. If unit ® were set to PRO

ENA, changes of unit

timbres
would result
in corresponding changes in

•TONE Mix
AND KEY SPLIT
MODE
The following appears on the LCD when
the
MIDI
key is pressed in the TOME MIX
or
KEY SPLIT mode:
In this
case, data exchange
is only possible in the poly mode,
and the mono mode cannot
be specified. (The
cursor will
not move to the P. MODE position.)
Settings for the send channel
(KBCH), receive
channel (CH) and timbre exchange able/dis-
able (PRG
=
ENA7DIS)
mode are made in the
same manner as those for the NORMAL
mode (see page
32).

When
timbre change data or volume
level change data
is received from an external source
in the
TONE MIX
or KEY SPLIT mode, the indicators
on the
CZ-3000 change for the
settings
corresponding
to the position of the
cursor.
