3.2.2. Ethernet Cradle/USB Cradle
No. Name Description
1 USB Client Port This port is used to transmit data (download, upload) by connecting the Ethernet
Cradle to PC using USB cable (DT-380USB-A). The dedicated driver must be
installed in the PC before connecting the cradle to the PC.
2 USB Host Port This port is used to connect a USB peripheral device.
This LED shows the LAN connection status.
Off : LAN cable not connected correctly.
3 LAN Connection Status
LED(Only Ethernet

On in Green : LAN cable connected correctly.
This LED shows the LAN operation status.
Off : No communication.
4 LAN Communication
Status LED(Only
Ethernet Cradle)
Flashing : Communication in progress.
5 LAN Port (Only Ethernet
Cradle)
This port is used for connecting the cradle to PC or hub via LAN cable so that
data can be transmitted (uploaded or downloaded). The special driver must be
installed in the terminal.
6 AC Adaptor Jack Connect the dedicated AC adaptor, AD-S42120B, here.
7 Power Switch Turns on and off the power.
8 Selector Switch This switch is used to switch between USB connection and LAN connection.
9 Power/Signal Terminal Used for USB communication or to supply power to the terminal and to charge
the battery pack via Cradle.
10 Terminal Detect Switch This switch detects when the terminal is mounted correctly on the cradle.
11 Cradle Mound Hooks Used to hook the terminal in the cradle.
This LED indicates the power status and the mounting status of the terminal.
Off : The terminal is not mounted. Or, the AC adaptor is not
connected.
12 Power LED
On in Green : Power is turned on, and the terminal is correctly set in the
cradle.
