4.4 Setup
To ensure safe and trouble-free operation, please follow these
setup instructions:
(1) The device must be set up on a stable, flat, dry and heat-
resistant surface capable of supporting the microwave and any
food and cookware to be used with it.
(2) Choose a location where children cannot reach any hot
surfaces on the appliance.
(3) The microwave is not intended to be “built-in.”
(4) Do not set up the device in a hot or damp environment, or near
flammable material.
(5) To operate correctly, the appliance requires sufficient air flow.
Leave at least 8 inches of space above the oven, 4 inches
behind it and 2 inches on both sides.
(6) Do not cover up any of the appliance’s vents.
(7) Do not place items on top of the microwave.
(8) The outlet must be easily accessible so that the
appliance’s plug
can be quickly disconnected in the case of an emergency.
(9) The setup of this unit in non-stationary locations (e.g. on boats,
aircraft, motor homes) must be carried out by qualified
electricians, provided they guarantee the prerequisites for the
safe use of this device.
(10) Wipe the interior of the microwave with a soft damp sponge
before first use. Dry thoroughly.
4.5 Installing the glass turntable
Assemble the glass turntable as follows:
1. Place the rolling ring in the base of the cooking chamber.
2. Insert the glass turntable so the groove underneath it fits in the
drive shaft at the base of the cooking chamber.
4.6 Information on microwave cookware
The ideal material for microwave cookware allows
the
microwave
energy to penetrate the container and heat the food.
