your device quickly and take advantage of the full scope of its functions.
Your Sound & Cool will serve you for many years if you handle it and care for it
properly.
We wish you a lot of pleasure in using it!

These Operating Instructions are a component of the Sound & Cool (referred to
hereafter as the Device) and provide you with important information for the initial
commissioning, safety, intended use and care of the device. The Operating
Instructions must be available at all times at the device. This Operating Manual must
be read and applied by every person who is instructed to work with the device:

Keep the Operating Manual in a safe place and pass it on to the subsequent owner
along with the device.

Overview

This document is an operating manual for the "Sound & Cool" device, which appears to be a combined refrigerator and sound system.

Function Description:

The "Sound & Cool" is a multi-functional appliance designed for cooling food and beverages in enclosed spaces, such as kitchens, offices, B&Bs, agricultural estates, hotels, motels, and other residential establishments. It features two cooling drawers with independent temperature control, allowing for different temperature settings for each. The device also integrates a sound bar with music playback capabilities, supporting Bluetooth, external audio (AUX), and USB connections. It includes USB ports for charging external devices.

Usage Features:

  • Cooling System:
    • Two independent cooling drawers.
    • Temperature regulation for each drawer (settings 1-12).

    • Avoid placing tall cans/canisters that prevent drawers from closing.
    • Drawers have removable partitions and movable inserts for flexible storage.
    • Do not overfill to ensure proper internal air circulation.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning:
    • Switch off and unplug the device before cleaning.
    • Remove all food/beverages and accessories (inserts/partitions).
    • Clean USB/AUX ports with a dry, soft cloth only. Avoid wet cloths or sprays.
    • Clean surfaces and drawers with a soft cloth and neutral cleaning solvent. Avoid hot water.
    • Thoroughly dry the device after cleaning.
    • Regularly clean drawer gaskets with water to ensure proper closing.
    • Drawers can be removed for cleaning by moving them upside and back.
    • Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, solvents, or hard items to scrape off dirt.
    • Cleaning and maintenance by children (8 years and above) only under supervision.
  • Defrost: The device automatically defrosts. Condensated water is collected in a tray and evaporates by compressor heat.
  • Moving the Appliance:
    • Turn off and unplug the device.
    • Remove all contents and tape down loose items.
    • Tape drawers shut.
    • The appliance can be tilted by a maximum angle of 45° to avoid damaging the cooling system.

Safety Information:

  • General: Read the manual thoroughly before use. Keep ventilation openings clear. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate defrosting other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. Do not use electrical appliances inside food storage compartments unless recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Fire/Explosion Risk: Flammable refrigerant is used. Repairs must be performed by trained service personnel only. Do not puncture refrigerant tubing. Dispose of the device according to federal/local regulations. Do not expose the apparatus to rain or moisture. Do not store or use flammable materials (e.g., gasoline, aerosol cans with flammable propellant) near the device. Blowing gas inside the unit is flammable.
  • Electrical Safety: Connect to a MAINS socket outlet with a protective earthing connection (Class I apparatus). Securely attach the apparatus to the floor/wall. If the connection lead or power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician or the manufacturer/service agency. Do not operate if the power cable/plug is damaged or if the device does not work properly or has been dropped. Do not open the housing. Do not clean with spray/liquid or place in a wet environment. The mains plug must be firmly plugged into the connection socket. The electrical outlet must be protected by a 16A safety cut-out switch. Do not bend the power cord or place it under/over hot/sharp surfaces. Use of extension cables (max. 3 meters, 1.5 mm² cross-section) is allowed, but multiple plugs/gangs are prohibited. Not designed for RVs or use with an inverter.
  • Child Safety: Children aged 8 and above may use the device under supervision and after instruction on safe use and hazards. Children are not allowed to play with the device. Keep the device and its connecting cable away from children under 8 years old.
  • Qualified Personnel: Only qualified electricians trained by the manufacturer may carry out repairs. Improper repairs can cause dangers. During the guarantee period, only manufacturer-authorized service departments should perform repairs.
  • Stability: Do not place unstable or heavy objects (e.g., water containers) on the upper part of the device.
  • FCC Compliance: The device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) no harmful interference, and (2) acceptance of any interference received.

Troubleshooting:

The manual provides a table for localizing and rectifying minor faults, covering issues like the device not operating, insufficient cooling, compressor not stopping, vibrations, excessive noise, and drawers not closing properly. For unresolved problems, contact Customer Service.

Disposal:

Old electric and electronic devices must not be disposed of with non-recyclable waste due to valuable and potentially damaging substances. Utilize established collection points for recycling. Remove drawer doors, partitions, and movable inserts from old devices to prevent children from being accidentally injured. The flammable blowing gas inside the unit must be disposed of according to national regulations.
