Note: The use of ferrules is recommended with spring clamp terminals.
The spring block terminals are suitable for a wire range of 24 AWG (0.2 mm
2
) to 16 AWG (1.31 mm
2
).
If you are using two wires in the same terminal, then the limit is 20 AWG (0.518 mm
2
per wire).
If larger wires (up to 14 AWG or 2.5 mm) are required, then screw terminals can be substituted or ferrules can be
employed.
Note: Where the voltage exceeds 30 VAC or 42.2 VDC, the wire used should not be less than 24 AWG
(0.2 mm
2
) in order to comply with International Electrical Safety Standards.
