What to do if my CDA hob doesn't work and no indicators are lit?

      Rachael FordAug 11, 2025
If your CDA hob isn't working and no lights are on, first, check the fuse and replace it if it's blown. Then, make sure the hob is properly connected to the power supply by checking the electrical power supply or the circuit breaker and fuses. Finally, ensure that the appliance is turned on.

Why does my CDA hob keep switching itself off?
    • J
      john73Aug 20, 2025
If your CDA hob switches itself off, it could be because no heat level was set within 10 seconds of turning it on. To fix this, switch the hob on and quickly set the zone and heat setting. Another reason could be that the sensor fields are covered or dirty; uncover or clean them to resolve the issue.

Why are the sensor fields on my CDA hob not responding?

      Matthew JacksonAug 30, 2025
If the sensor fields on your CDA hob aren't responding when you touch them, it might be because you're not touching them long enough; try touching the sensor field again, holding for at least a second. Also, check if the safety key lock is on and switch it off. Finally, ensure you're only touching one sensor field at a time, unless instructed otherwise.
