The cutting shaft with the diamond saw blade is driven
by an electric motor via three (!) V-belts.
Due to the relatively high blade shaft number of revolu-
tions (dry cut) saw blades with 80 m/s permission are
installed.
The feed is ef
fected manually by means of a push
handle.
The saw blade can precisely but nevertheless quickly
be lowered and raised by means of a hand crank with
trapezoidal threaded spindle.
The joint cutter is auto-
matically slowed down when the saw blade is lifted.
The infinitely variable cutting depth adjustment allows
cutting depths up to 170 mm. The precisely manufac-
tured cutting shaft is mounted in self-aligning high-
performance pillow block bearings.
The saw blade is
mounted on the cutting shaft between a blade mounting
flange with a blade receptacle of 25,4 mm diameter
,
including drive pin as anti-twist device, and a blade
receiving fl
ange with central screwing.
The removable blade guard ensures greatest possible
protection against the rotating saw blade.
The front pointer is adjustably mounted on the machine
frame and enables the operator to cut precisely along a
given line.

diamond
saw blades for dry cutting which ensure a careful treat-
ment of the joint cutter due to their cutting ability and
smooth running.
The diamond saw blades are consid-
ered to be an important component of the whole cutting
unit.
