A visual inspecon and quick sckiness check helps determine if it is me for a new
electrode. If you experience any of the following with your current electrode, you should
dispose of it and use a new one:
• Your electrode is not scky to the touch or looks dried out.
• The two pads of the electrode are not fully covered with gel.
• Aer washing your forehead with soap and water, and drying it thoroughly, the
electrode does not sck uniformly to your forehead, and peels at the ends or center.
• With the device on the electrode, the electrode slips or separates in any way from your
forehead.
If you are not able to verify the above, you should use a new electrode. If you have any
quesons about reusing your electrode, please contact CEFALY for assistance.
