clamps

wires
and
cables
to
engine,

attached
brackets.

carburetor
heat
control
to
arm
on
car-
buretor
air
intake
housing
assembly.
Install
clamps
and
rig
in
accordance
with
paragraph
11-54.

propeller
and
spinner.

Make a
magneto
switch
wire
ground-out
and
con-
tinuity
check.
Connect
magneto
switch
wires
to
the

position

connecting
switch
wires
to
magnetos.

Service
engine
with
proper
grade
and
quantity

engine
oil.

to

if
engine
is
new, newly
overhauled,
or
has
been
in
storage.

Make
sure
all
switches
are
in
the
OFF
position,

connect
battery
cable
(s)
to
battery.

Rig
throttle,

carburetor
heat

trols
in
accordance
with
paragraph

through
11-54.

engine
installation
for
security,
correct
routing
of
controls,
lines,
hose
and
tightness
of
all
components.

Install
engine
cowling.
Clean
and
install
car-
buretor
air
filter.
Be
sure
all
hot
and
cold
air
ducts
are
installed
and
connected.

engine
run-up
and

final

ments
