TRAVELING ON PUBLIC ROADS
Always walk around and visually inspect machine before
traveling on public roads. As a warning, honk the horn
twice before starting engine. Check for damage and/or
faulty components that can fail and create a hazardous
condition. Make sure all machine systems operate
properly including, but not limited to: front road lights, tail
and brake lights, hazard warning lights, parking brake,
horn, windshield wiper and washer and rear view mirrors.
Repair or replace any component not in proper working
order.
Never drive at a speed causing machine to lose control.
Obey all traffic rules. Operate machine with hazard
warning lights on, unless prohibited by law. Use of road
lights while traveling on public roads is operator's
responsibility.
SAFETY SIGNS AND LABELS
There are several specific safety signs on this machine.
The exact location of the hazards and description of
hazards are reviewed in this section.
Please become familiarized with all safety signs. Make
sure all safety signs are legible. Clean safety signs or
replace safety signs if you cannot read the words.
Replace illustrations if not visible. When you clean safety
signs, use a cloth, water, and soap. Do not use solvent,
gasoline, or other harsh chemicals to clean safety signs.
Solvents, gasoline, or harsh chemicals could loosen
adhesive that secures safety sign. Loose adhesive will
allow safety sign to fall.
Replace any safety sign damaged or missing. If a safety
sign is attached to a part of machine that is replaced,
install a safety sign on replacement part. Any AGCO
dealer can provide new safety signs.
