If your Champion Inverter engine won't start, there are several potential causes. First, ensure you have enough fuel by adding fuel to the tank. Next, check the spark plug; it may need cleaning, adjustment, or replacement. Also, verify the oil level and fill the crankcase to the correct level if it's low. Make sure the generator is placed on a flat surface. Check that the spark plug wire is securely attached. Ensure the fuel valve is open. If the fuel is old or contaminated with water, drain it and replace it with fresh fuel. Finally, if the engine is flooded, let it sit for about 10 minutes before attempting to start it again.
