Starting the Engine: Propane (LPG)
NOTICE
Turn the generator off before attempting to switch from
gasoline to LPG operation.
1. Make certain the generator is on a flat, level surface.
2. Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator. Never start
or stop the generator with electrical devices plugged in or
turned on.
3. Open the fuel valve on the propane cylinder.
Electric Start
Cold Engine Start
4. Move the EZ Start dial to the “CHOKE” position.
5. Press and hold the yellow ignition switch on the EZ Start Dial
toward the center of the dial for 2-3 seconds.
6. Turn the EZ Start dial to the “RUN” position.
7. Press and hold the yellow ignition switch on the EZ Start
Dial toward the center of the dial for up to 5 seconds or until
started.
CAUTION
If the ignition switch is held down in the “START” position
longer than 5 seconds it could damage the starter.
NOTICE
If the engine is cranked longer than 5 seconds, the engine can
flood and will not start.
8. If engine does not start, wait 10 seconds and repeat step 7.
9. Plug in devices.
Warm Engine Start
4. Turn the EZ Start dial to the “RUN” position.
