What to do if my Champion DH6000 Dishwasher will not drain?
    • L
      Leonard GreenJul 29, 2025
If your Champion Dishwasher is not draining, start by cleaning the drain screen. If that doesn't solve the problem, the drain valve may be defective, in which case you should contact a service agent, or manually open the drain valve to drain. Additionally, check if the building drain is clogged and contact Building Maintenance if needed.

If your Champion Dishwasher won't run and the HMI is unresponsive, make sure the hood is completely closed and the door switch is working correctly. Check the breaker on the panel, and select a 1, 2, 4, or 6-minute cycle. The issue might also be a bad pump or contactor, a power outage, or a tripped overload.

If your Champion Dishwasher has low or no water, first ensure that the main water supply is on and the supply valve is open. Then, check the PRV setting and set it to 20-22 PSI flowing. If problems persist, there might be a clogged line strainer or a defective valve of float, in which case you should contact a service agent.

Why are the Champion DH6000 wash results poor?
    • S
      steven76Aug 12, 2025
Poor wash results with a Champion Dishwasher can stem from several issues. First, ensure that wares are correctly loaded in the dish rack, repositioning them or reducing the amount if necessary. Check and clean clogged screens and spray arms. Verify that chemical injectors are feeding properly and repair any leaks in the detergent pump hose. If the water temperature is below 55°F for VHR, contact a service agent to increase the water temperature to 75°F.
